Life at Colyton Grammar

Katie Gallagher (OC1992) has been awarded an OBE in the 2024 King's New Year's Honours List for her services to the digital technology industry. The managing director of Manchester Digital, Katie is also the founder of the NW Cyber Resilience Centre and chair of UK Tech Cluster Group. 

Katie was appointed MD of Manchester Digital in 2011 and since then, she has worked tirelessly to support the digital and technology industry, as well as working with business leaders and MPs to influence policy. 

She said: "I was incredibly surprised to hear I was recieving an OBE. I'm very proud to work with the amazing teams at Manchester Digital as the North West Cyber Resilience Centre, as well as our innovative tech community in the North West, which is only going from strength to strength."
