My 5 seconds of fame!

Building new content for the website included inviting professional photographers and film producers into school. There were a lot of onlookers, giggles and intrigue as students were photographed and filmed to capture what it really is like to attend Colyton Grammar School.

We've asked some of the students to feedback on their experience of being in front of the camera:

Naomi from Year 12:

• What did you think about being asked to feature in the new website film?

I thought it would be a lot more fun than the revision meeting I had, I felt very amused and intrigued.

• Was it fun to participate in or did it take longer than you expected?

It was definitely fun to participate, and doing the video with a group of people who are my friends helped a lot. 

• Are you looking forward to seeing the final edit?

Yes! Though I’m not sure how I feel about the rest of the school seeing it just yet haha.

• Would you participate in a school film again?

 Most definitely! It was a lot of fun and helped boost my confidence.

‘It was exciting being able to feature in the new website film. I was nervous in the beginning. However, after a couple of funny bloopers, I felt the atmosphere become more light-hearted. I’m eager to see the final edit, especially my strong contribution during the speech.’
