'I am a Radio Presenter for Hayes FM 91.8, based in Acton (under Ealing Council). I have been involved in the ONLY international radio competition since March this year! There were 350 initial applicants, and we've been put through a boot camp of challenges over the last seven months (four rounds) to now reach the top five! The winner will be announced in the next couple of weeks. It's been an exciting time. I started in radio in February 2020, and then the professional Hayes studios promptly closed in March with the first lockdown! Safe to say, this didn't stop the passion- I just learnt how to use Adobe editing programmes and built a home studio in my lounge! My current show is a New Music Releases show (think BBC Music introducing/Annie Mac/Huw Stephens), and I support local musicians and emerging artists as well as some slightly further afield. All past shows are available to listen again via my website - www.lizzieromain.co.uk.  '

We wish Lizzie every success with the competition and all the best for her career as a Radio Presenter.
