Higher Education Information Evening
At this time of year we focus Year 12 tutorial work on careers and opportunities beyond school. An overwhelming amount of students at Colyton have indicated a wish to apply for Higher Education and competition for places and the pace of change are such that all students need to be well informed about the process. We will be taking all Year 12 students to the UCAS Exhibition at Westpoint where they can talk to university admissions tutors and apprenticeship providers direct to help them with the decisions ahead.
Our Higher Education Information Evening is scheduled for Thursday 17 March, at 5-7pm and is held specifically to support the parents of Year 12 students. Guest speakers will cover topics such as university applications admissions procedures, including Oxbridge; Higher and Degree apprenticeships; and graduate career prospects. There will also be time for individual questions. We are very grateful for your support at this exciting stage of a student’s career and hope that you will be able to join us for the evening in school. I would be grateful if you could complete this Form to confirm your attendance at this event. We look forward to seeing you on 17 March.
