Students win at Richard Huish College Model United Nations Conference

Year 12 student Ed W, alongside Year 11 student Henry S, were awarded the ‘Best Delegates’ prize at the Richard Huish College Model United Nations Conference last month.
Model United Nations offers students the opportunity to think in a different way, acting as another country’s delegates where they debate and write resolutions.
This prize is an outstanding achievement for the pair, who were both having to act as Russian Federation delegates. Respectively embodying the roles as the Security Council and Trade Committee. In the General Assembly, our Russian Federation team had to respond to fast-moving crises, offering opinions and ways forward. They handled these roles with maturity, showing deep knowledge and preparation.
We will be holding our Annual Colyton Grammar School Model United Nations conference on Friday 11th July.
