British Science Association Gold Crest award
Lachlan R, Year 11, has been awarded a British Science Association Gold Crest award for his project “Design of a Europa Subsurface Explorer Mission”. This award is given to students who have completed a project that has made an original contribution to a STEM field of study. It is a prestigious award that is recognised and respected by universities and employers. Lachlan has shown that he has huge potential as a future scientist or engineer, having also been invited to the national final of the Young Engineer of the Year competition where he presented his investigation.
