STUDENT WINS NATIONAL COMPUTING CHALLENGE
Joe D in Year 11 and Simon M in year 10 have made it to the finals of the Senior section of TCS Oxford Computing Challenge.
To qualify for the first round required being in the top 10% in the Bebras UK Challenge, a computational thinking challenge.
The top 23 students in the country from the first round of the Oxford Computing Challenge were then invited to the finals.

Joe did very well in the competition, achieving one of the highest scores. However, Simon did exceptionally well and took first place! As a result, Simon was invited to the TCS Big Innovation Forum in London, where he met with leading figures from industry and academia as well as receiving his certificate and prize.
Simon and Joe will also receive a mentoring prize.
