Digital 4 All
Here at Colyton Grammar School we have been adapting to the new system of working remotely, this means delivering an outstanding education for our students through the use of technology. This has meant we needed to review our digital strategy, one that we were half way through but it now drastically needs accelerating.
Our early achievements in our 'Digital Enrichment' strategy has helped us maintain an outstanding level of education and support for our students during the COVID-19 pandemic. But the time has come to ensure that every student has access to a digital device to ensure consistency of learning and equality of opportunity across our student community.
We now urgently need to deliver our ambitious one student, one device policy, making digital learning accessible for all students at Colyton Grammar School. We want to use technology to achieve our goals as a world leading British Grammar School.
The school has set aside and accessed funds for 500 devices, but as our student population passes 1,000 for the first time in our history in September 2020 there is a need to campaign to raise funds for the remaining 500. We realise that this is a unpredictable economic time, but if you do have capacity to give to this exciting project the school will be able to provide digital equality for all students.
We have an exciting match funding challenge for you to make your gift double in value for OCS donations.
Donations of any size are welcome and can be made through the Virgin Money Giving link to allow Colyton Grammar School to deliver this important project for all our students.
