Recently, many students from Years 7 and 8 took up the opportunity to develop and improve their cycling skills and road safety awareness. The training, delivered by certified instructors, took place both on school grounds and out on the local roads.
Students were taught a range of skills, starting with basic bike checks and progressing to advanced techniques such as navigating junctions, signaling, and understanding road signs. All sessions followed the national Bikeability standards, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
Participation was enthusiastic, with students demonstrating great progress in both confidence and competence on the roads. The instructors commented on the exemplary behavior and attitude of our students. We are proud of our students’ engagement and look forward to offering similar opportunities in the future. Well done to all who took part.
