Colyton Grammar School Art Show

Over the past two Fridays, A level and GCSE Art students have showcased their work at the Colyton Grammar School Art Show. 

Visitors to both shows were full of praise for the students and the art teachers for the quality of the amazing artwork on display. 

The current national debate around education focuses on skills versus knowledge and questions whether creativity has been abandoned in schools as teachers seek top grades.  This art show brilliantly illustrates that at Colyton Grammar School, to truly excel you need skills, knowledge and creativity, all of which was evidenced in abundance at the Art Show.
