"Finally winning the U18 Devon Football Cup at the fourth attempt was one of my most memorable experiences at Colyton, and for the Year 13s involved, it marked the end of a long journey that began with heartbreak in three previous finals in Years 7, 11, and 12.
Their determination to keep coming back, learn from each setback, and continue striving for success perfectly embodies the Colytonian virtue of resilience. The victory, secured in a tense penalty shoot out against Torquay Boys’ Grammar School, was not just a reward for their skill but a testament to their teamwork, perseverance, and unwavering belief in one another."
