"Being terrified of spiders, having windows open in my classroom is a risky business!

A few weeks ago, a quite sizeable spider came into my classroom and was crawling increasingly closer to me along the wall. I mentioned that I wasn't a huge fan of spiders to the students and continued teaching until two students put their hands up and commented on how much closer the spider had gotten to me and asked if I'd like them to remove it.

They then proceeded to carefully pick up the 'monster' and return it to its natural habitat. The kindness and consideration of the students here makes it a uniquely lovely place to work." - Miss Maiden, Head of Psychology.
