What's Your Colyton Story?

"Nearly 30 years after leaving Colyton, I still have the most wonderful memories of my time there. It honestly feels like it was only a couple of years ago.

There were so many highlights – singing the Messiah, choir trips, inspiring lessons, art trips, and unforgettable school trips like Exmoor. Sixth form was a particularly special time, and I had the privilege of being Deputy Head Girl. I also remember the school fetes and barn dances in Cottrill Hall, and even the warm, freshly made rolls from the dining hall!

I haven’t lived in Devon since leaving university, but I still have family there. This summer I drove my 12 and 14 year olds to Colyton to show them my old school – I wanted them to see where I spent such an important part of my life.
