Prof. R Freathy

Rob Freathy was educated at Colyton Grammar School, and the universities of Oxford and Exeter. After teaching in state and independent secondary schools, he embarked on a career in educational research and academic leadership and management. He is currently a Professor of Education within the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Exeter. He has published widely on his research interests, and has also written textbooks for both teachers and pupils in primary and secondary schools. He is married to another Old Colytonian, Rachel, with whom he has two children.
