Year 8 Geography Jurassic Journey

Last month Year 8 Geography classes visited the Jurassic Coast of Dorset to study coastal management at West Bay and the geology and landforms of the Isle of Purbeck. After a windswept walk from Durdle Door to Lulworth Cove students completed their own group investigations to enquire into the success of Lulworth Cove as a ‘Honey Pot’ site. Special mention should go to Mr Radcliffe and 8A who battled with high winds and rain to complete their fieldwork.
