Dr Rorke and the Chemistry Department have entered 46 students from Year 12 and Year 13 to compete in the UK Chemistry Olympiad. This is an academically challenging event but one that helps develop subject knowledge and fine tunes key subject skills. Ribia from Year 12 said that the Olympiad was a positively challenging event and great way to get a flavour of what rigorous chemistry was about. We look forward to hearing about the successful outcomes regarding the competition itself in due course.
