Foodbank Update

Last week, the final food bank deliveries from our 2021/22 appeal were made to Axminster, Honiton and Seaton. This was only made possible thanks to the generosity of students and parents who supported the final Christmas non-uniform day with food donations. As you would expect, Sheila, Teresa and Stephen, the three food bank organisers, were delighted to receive the deliveries. All three asked me to pass on their sincere thanks for remembering the needs of poorer families at this time. In addition, I would like to thank Mrs Lea, Mrs Simpson and the students of 10B who have done so much to coordinate the collection and the boxing of donations. A special thanks also goes to Mr Taylor, our technology technician, who again volunteered to distribute the weighty donations around the towns. Thank you to one and all for making a real difference to so many. In total, the school donated 3,276 items of food. A fantastic total and one that we hope to match, or even better, next year!
