Students and staff at Colyton Grammar School are today celebrating another exceptional year of A-Level results. An impressive 87% of grades were awarded A*-B, with over two thirds of all grades achieving A* or A. The results reflect the dedication, scholarship and ambition of the school's sixth form students, and the school’s core purpose of supporting students to progress to, and flourish at, the most competitive higher education destinations.

A record 24 students (18% of the year group) have secured places at Oxford and Cambridge, where they will go on to study a wide range of courses, including Medicine, Natural Sciences, Archaeology, Geography, History and English. Meanwhile, 90% of confirmed places are at Sutton Trust Top 30 universities, in subjects such as Marine Biology, Law, Engineering, Music, Modern Languages and PPE, furthering Colyton's reputation for preparing students to progress to the country's top universities, art colleges and conservatoires.

Continuing the school's long-standing tradition of academic success, 19 students achieved 3 or more A* grades, with Raffi Auster, Josh Arnason and Jack Nixon securing an incredible 5 A*s each.

Headteacher, Tim Harris, praised the students' accomplishments, stating: "These results are a testament to the determination and ambition of our students and, as I told them before they sat their exams, I couldn't be more proud of them. Their success is richly deserved and reflects not only their hard work but also the dedication and support of their teachers and their families. I wish all our leavers the very best as they take their next steps."
