The first few weeks of term have already brought plenty of action, effort and achievement across our school teams.
1st XV Rugby started with an impressive 39–0 win over Blundell’s 3rd XV, with Oscar F scoring an outstanding four tries.

U15 Girls’ Football began their National Cup campaign with a convincing 5–0 win over St Luke’s. Lydia, Gabbi and Izzy all found the net as the girls progressed to Round 2 against LeAF Academy Bournemouth.

U18 Boys’ Football faced a tougher afternoon, losing 3–0 to Torquay Academy in the first round of the National Cup. The team will look to bounce back in the Devon Cup later this year.

U13 Girls’ Football also made a fantastic National Cup start, beating The Maynards School 6–0. Minnie completed a hat-trick, with Saoirse, Nala and Rae also scoring. A strong all-round performance secured a clean sheet and a Round 2 trip to Millfield.

Netball brought two victories against King’s, with the U14s winning 19–9 and the U16s securing a 15–10 win. Lyra and Katie H were named Players of the Match.

Our girls also took part in the Neon Run School Games, completing either the 2.5km or 5km course before enjoying cricket, football, dance and badminton activities. Their determination, teamwork and enthusiasm were fantastic to see!

We’re proud to see students representing Colyton with commitment, teamwork and determination. Plenty more sport to come!
