Last week saw another fantastic week of sport, with our pupils showcasing skill, teamwork and determination across four disciplines!
U12 Rugby
Our Year 7s remained unbeaten at the Central Venue tournament at King’s, drawing against Sidmouth and King’s before securing impressive 5–0 wins over Uffculme and Cullompton. Excellent teamwork and defence throughout!

U18 Cross Country
Our boys finished 2nd at the English Schools Cross Country Cup, qualifying for the regional round in November. Oscar placed 2nd and George 5th. The girls finished a superb 4th, narrowly missing qualification by just four points. Well done to all!

U13 Boys’ Tennis
Following county success, the boys faced Penair School in the regional knockout round. Despite a 4–2 defeat, Louis claimed a singles win and Alex and Nicky triumphed in doubles. A fantastic achievement to reach this stage!

U14 & U16 Netball
Both teams secured convincing wins against Axe Valley! The U16s won 39–6, while the U14s claimed a 26–8 victory. Ava R and Liv N earned Player of the match honours.
The U14 netball team produced an excellent set of performances at the East Devon Tournament, progressing all the way to the final against Sidmouth. It was a highly competitive contest, but the girls were ultimately beaten 14-7. Despite the result, the team demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship, resilience and a positive attitude throughout the afternoon. Finishing as runners-up was a well-deserved achievement and reflects the hard work and commitment shown by the squad.

Congratulations to all our pupils for their outstanding efforts and for representing the school so proudly!
