Colyton Grammar School Academy Trust has a fantastic community, through your support for school with gifts of time or financial support we are able to provide the very best student experience.

Philanthropic support is part of our history, as the school was set up by generous local men of Colyton in 1546. This tradition of support continues today and is vital for its success.

The school is strategic and wants to ensure its future in education is world leading. State funded schools have a very restricted budget, through gifts to school you are enabling us to fulfil our aims and provide an outstanding environment for our students to flourish.

Ways to support the school

The Annual Fund is a regular / one off donation scheme to the school which runs each year, all year round. This fund builds up the more participants there are and allows the school to react quickly to departmental needs.

Over the last 2 years your support has provided over 200 hours of volunteer time and in excess of £160,000 of support for the school.

2019

Digital Enhancements Project Your donations were used to update every classroom with interactive boards.

145 Volunteer hours; Alumni/parent Inspire talks, Head Start Year 12 career event, Career Interviews Year 13.

2020

Your donations contributed to the Digital 4 All appeal, this was supported by over 200 donors and enabled Colyton Grammar School students to each have a digital device. A unique feature for a state Grammar School, this has supported students through the pandemic ensuring an outstanding student experience through learning at home or in school.

Thank you to all our donors for our Digital 4 All appeal.
