Colyton Grammar School students enjoy success at regional finals of F1 in Schools

Recently, two teams of Colyton Grammar School students from Year 9 travelled to the Bristol and Bath Science Park to compete in the regional finals of F1 in Schools.  

The teams, named Velocity Racing and Zenith Racing, both took part in the development class of the competition to great success. Zenith Racing finished in third place with Velocity Racing coming in first place.  

Velocity Racing also won the award for Best Engineered Car and the Fastest Car in class, with Zenith Racing winning the awards for Sponsorship and Marketing across all classes.  

In addition, Velocity Racing also received an invitation to the national finals, which take place in Leeds in June.  

The results of this competition represent the culmination of eight months of hard work and dedication by the teams.
