Year 7 students learn about AI in STEM enrichment lesson

As part of the STEM enrichment that was provided by cyber innovation company Roke in a recent cyber day, Year 7 students had the opportunity to learn about AI and how it can be used to create fake images.  

They were tasked to work out which photos had been produced by a human and which by AI. Although it was hard to sport potential imperfections in the images that would reveal the AI input, the students found it both fun and challenging, and it provided a pertinent warning that we must be critical viewers and not simply trust everything that we are presented with.
