Students enjoy workshop with author Manjeet Mann

Twenty-eight students were lucky enough to attend a talk and workshop with award-winning author Manjeet Mann this week, kindly organised by Budleigh Literary Festival. Manjeet shared her journey to becoming a writer, as well as speaking about her writing process and the inspiration behind her novels Run, Rebel and The Crossing. Students then had a writing workshop, where they practised freewriting, mining their memories for writing inspiration, and adapting their prose into a scene.
