Year 10 students investigate stock market flotation

Year 10 Business Studies students have been learning about sources of finance for growing businesses, and in Ms Rust’s class, 10B have been investigating a stock market flotation.  

To embed and extend that learning, one lesson involved them using our stock market trading simulation software to learn how shares are traded and how news stories and company information impact the value of stocks and shares.  

When polled, 100% of the class said that they had enjoyed the experience and it helped them gain a better understanding of stock markets.
