Students play at Boringdon Park Golf Club

Six talented students from Colyton Grammar School were proud representatives of the school at the Devon Schools Golf event, held at Boringdon Park Golf Club in Plymouth. With clear blue skies, warm sunshine and a steady breeze, conditions couldn’t have been better for a great day of golf in a field of over 100 competitors.  

Taking net scores into consideration, Ollie T finished an impressive 2nd, with Ollie C 7th, Archie 16th, Henry 42nd, Scott 600th and Ollie P 76th. Out of 32 school teams, this translated into outstanding team results, with Colyton Grammar’s first team finishing in 3rd place and the second team also obtaining a top five position in 5th place.  

A big thank you to the parents and guardians who supported the event. If there are any more budding golfers at Colyton who were not involved this time, please make yourself known to Mr Robinson. Well done to all who took part.
