Exeter vs East Devon Athletics Trails

Back in May, Exeter Arena hosted the annual Exeter vs East Devon Athletics Trials, a pivotal event in the school athletics calendar. Young athletes from across the region competed for the opportunity to represent their area at the upcoming Devon Schools Championships.  

The trails showcased impressive talent and determination. Notable performances included:  

• Elsa R – 300m and Long Jump 2nd  

• Katie H – Shot Putt 1st  

• Niamh C – 200m 3rd  

• Ellie J – 800m 2nd  

• Eliza T – 1500m 3rd  

• Emma P – High Jump 3rd  

• James K – 300m 2nd  

• Akein N – 300m 3rd  

• George H – 800m 1st  

• Jacob A – 1500m 2nd  

• Freddie C – High Jump 2nd  

• Marcus L – Shot Putt 2nd  

• Luke B – Discus 1st  

• Ollie T – 100m 3rd  

• Ben P – 1500m 2nd  

• Oscar P – 3000m 2nd  

• Casper S – High Jump 2nd  

• Milo L – Discus 1st  

These performances highlight the dedication of the participating students, with the trials serving as a stepping stone for athletes aiming to compete at higher levels, fostering both personal growth and regional pride.
