Devon Schools’ Track and Field Championships

On a bright and sunny day at Exeter Arena, students from Colyton Grammar School were amongst hundreds of enthusiastic young athletes at the track and field stadium to compete at the annual Devon School’s Athletics Championships.  

Our students competed in a plethora of events against some of the best young athletes in the county, with brilliant results:  

Sophia L – 3000m 1st  

George H – 800m 1st  

Katie H – Shot 1st  

Luke b – Discus 1st  

Temide A – High Jump 1st  

Ellie J – 800m 2nd  

Marcus L – Shot 3rd  

Ben P – 1500m 3rd  

Jacob A – 1500m 4th  

Nonna M – Javelin 4th Shot 5th  

Harry B – 200m 3rd  

Niamh C – 100m 4th, 200m 5th  

Elsa R – Long Jump 5th (PB)  

Ellie G – 200m 5th 100m 6th  

Hunter H and Alex S made 100 and 200m finals respectively. James K made 300m final, Gaby RS 7th Javelin, Milo was unlucky with 3 sector fouls for his throws reaching over 34m in discus.
