Maths Primary Outreach

Several of our Year 12 students volunteered to help run a Maths Primary Team Competition in June.  

There were several rounds of Maths involving challenging bits packed into different formats like relay, shuttle round, cross numbers as well as countdown to name but a few. With 12 teams from different primary schools, all Year 5 students had to work very hard throughout the whole day.  

Our Sixth Form showed excellent leadership throughout the day and feedback from the primary teachers and students was amazing, asking if they could do it again next year.  

Again, a big thank you to all Sixth Formers involved: Rose P, Adam J, Anais B, Aparajita A, Daniel X, Reuben G, Evelyn T, Daniel L, Louis DS, Cameron K, Angelina S, Alan S, Naomi B, Emily P, William M, Libbie B and Anna LW, as well as Mr Fudger as the event could not have run without them.
