Students play in T20 clash

Year 9 students took part in an exciting in-school T20 Cricket clash, with teams led by captains George D and Sammy W.  

Despite blustery conditions, the Colyton Grammar School Leopards set an impressive target of 141 runs. In response, the Colyton Grammar School All Stars opened strongly with George D and Lawrence S putting on a solid partnership, scoring 30 and 23 runs respectively. However, the Leopards fought back, breaking through the middle order to bring the match down to the wire.  

With just two runs needed from the final over, Ollie W stepped up and delivered under pressure – launching a huge six to seal a dramatic victory for the All Stars. A brilliant game of Cricket from both sides, well played to all involved.
