U13 & U15 East Devon Tennis Champions

Colyton hosted Sidmouth, Kings and Exmouth on Tuesday last week for the U13 and U15 East Devon Tennis Tournaments, and the home players delivered two superb performances. In the U13 competition, the girls were outstanding from the opening matches, with three of the four progressing from their groups and winning their quarter‑finals. Audrey and Immy both produced excellent semi‑final displays to set up a repeat of last year’s final. Audrey was in unstoppable form throughout the day, not dropping a single game as she claimed back‑to‑back U13 titles.

The U15 tournament was equally impressive, with all four Colyton players topping their groups and winning their quarter‑finals to guarantee an all‑Colyton semi‑final lineup. Poppy and Elise advanced to the final, where Poppy secured the title for the second consecutive year. The final standings — 1st Poppy, 2nd Elise, 3rd Molly, 4th Sophie — completed a remarkable clean sweep from a field of 12 competitors.
