Dipesh, who left Colyton in 2024, was presented with his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award in an event held at Buckingham Palace.
Innes F (OCS2024)
Cross Country Champion Innes has been named as the Young Athlete of the Year in the BBC Green Sport Awards for helping to raise awareness about the carbon footprint of sporting events
Georgia Stidwell
Georgia Stidwell (OC2017) has gone on to become Digital Marketing Executive at Save Your Wardrobe, a circular fashion company, which has been named the winner of the LVMH Innovation Award 2023
Ollie Persey
Ollie Persey (OCS2010) was named winner of the Legal Aid Newcomer Award at LAYS (Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards) 2024.
Maddy Anholt
Maddy (OC2006) was an actress and comedian, who worked closely with Women's Aid. Sadly, she passed away due to a rare form of brain cancer in 2023. CGS now raises money for Women's Aid in her memory.
Carry Somers
Alumna Carry Somers co-founded Fashion Revolution, using research to lobby on the topics of where do our clothes come from and who makes them, unravelling the impact of the fashion industry
Heidi Thiemann
After her PHD, Heidi spent time at Truro & Penwith College, developing courses that educate within the Cornish Space Sector. She is co-director of Space Skills Alliance, a think tank organisation
Joshua Quick
Former student Joshua won the WH Pierce Prize in the Applied Microbiology International Awards 2022 for his research into low-cost application sequencing methods for use in outbreak responses.
