Badminton teams take part in East Devon Competition

Recently, our Under-15 boys’ and girls’ badminton teams visited Sidmouth College to take part in the East Devon competition.  

The matches were played over five games, two single and three double and by beating Sidmouth and Exmouth, our students were crowned East Devon Champions. Many of the games were very close and it was nice to see our players really focusing when it came to key moments. Both teams managed their own fixtures, team selections and officiating throughout the afternoon. Freya and Saanvi went above and beyond in demonstrating our school value of service by officiating matches between Sidmouth and Exmouth, helping less experienced players by scoring the correct rotation of service in doubles.
