News - Dec 5

Recently, 530 students from Years 7 to 13 took the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge; the highest number of students that we’ve ever had take part.

This is a national challenge that is organised in conjunction with the University of Oxford in which students are given 18 problems to solve that require them to use computational thinking. Once again, our students did brilliantly, especially the 253 students who achieved results in the top 10% nationally. They will all be invited to take the Oxford University Computing Challenge, a programming challenge which will take place in January.

We are also proud to announce that Nathanael H in 7C achieved full marks! A fantastic achievement.

Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to Mr Cronk for his inspirational leadership of this work.
