Students take part in London Mini Marathon

Following on from our student success in athletics over the winter cross-country season, Oscar P and Jacob A were selected to represent the South West regional team at the London Mini-Marathon.  

This event is now an established part of the London Marathon Weekend, inheriting the course finishing on Pall Mall after passing Buckingham Palace, the famous finishing arch, celebrity guests including Joe Wicks. Previous winners have gone on to become internationally renowned athletes including Mo Farah and David Weir.  

Many congratulations to Oscar, who finished 6th in the Under 15 category, and Jacob finishing 43rd in the Under 13s, both very competitive fields. We look forward to following their future athletic achievements.
