On a sunny day at Seaton Cricket Club, our talented Year 12 Sports Leaders ran a KS1 multi skills festival, bringing together over 100 enthusiastic primary pupils from local schools for a day of fun, fitness and teamwork.
The festival featured a carousel of engaging and inclusive activities designed to develop agility, balance, coordination, and fundamental movement skills. From target throws to obstacle courses, every station was carefully planned and delivered by our Year 12 students, who demonstrated not only their leadership and organisation skills but also their outstanding encouragement and empathy throughout the day.
The younger students from the primary schools were buzzing with excitement and smiles as they moved around the activities. Teachers and support staff praised the leadership, creativity and responsibility shown by our sixth formers. This event was a fantastic celebration of sport, community and youth leadership in action, and a great reminder of how physical activity can bring people of all ages together.
A big thank you to Seaton Cricket Club for hosting us, to the visiting primary schools for their enthusiastic participation, and to our Sports Leaders for their hard work and inspiring efforts. We look forward to our next primary sports event – Quad Kids Athletics – on the 24th June.
