Students watch ‘The Crucible’ at Shakespeare’s Globe

News - Jun 27
Drama students were recently given the opportunity to see their exam set piece Arthur Miller’s ‘The Crucible’ live, performed on one of London’s most iconic stages, Shakespeare’s Globe.
Watching the piece that they are studying in person is hugely beneficial as it helps the students to understand how to interpret the text practically when writing about performance skills.
One student stated: It was great to see how the play was staged and costumed, and I found that watching the play helped me to understand the complexities more clearly. This was amazing!’
We would like to thank the students for their behaviour, both whilst travelling to and from London by coach and in the theatre itself and thank Mrs Rees and Mrs Brownley for organising the trip.
