Year 7 students take part in printing workshops

We were privileged to have the company and expertise of Emma Malony (Alumni) from Double Elephant Print Workshop who, with Alex Baldwin (Senior Graphic Designer from Skew Studio, London) put together three back-to-back workshops for our Year 7 students.  

Our project over the last two terms has been looking at Japan; its artists, artwork and print techniques. The students were excited for a morning of colour monotypes focusing on insects, tying in to their project of 3D Cardboard insects that they have been working on this term.  

We are really grateful for Alex and Emma’s voluntary support, to Emma for supplying all the materials and for arriving so early with a print press in tow to give the students a whirlwind of excitement.
