News - Jul 11

On Friday 4th July, it was time to celebrate our departing class of 2025 as we gathered at Sandy Park in Exeter for our annual Year 13 Achievement Evening.

The afternoon featured speeches from our Headmaster, Mr Harris, and our guest speaker Paul Mattin. Paul spoke about his time in the forces and how his journey applies to our school values of Scholarship, Humility and Service whilst encouraging the graduating students to embrace adventure.

A number of awards were given out to students, including prizes for art, music, mathematics, physical education and the sciences, alongside the presentation of the Devon FA County Cup trophy to our Under 18 Football team.

After the presentation, students, their families and Colyton Grammar School staff had the opportunity to both reminisce and talk about future plans as they collected their leavers hoodies and enjoyed looking through the photographs in their yearbooks.

With their Colyton Grammar School socks now in their possession, we look forward to hearing their next steps as we are sure that the Class of 2025 are going to go on to do great things.
