University Challenge Finals take place

After months of intense quizzing, quick thinking, and brilliant teamwork, we are thrilled to announce the results of our Colyton Grammar School House University Challenge Competition 2025! 

In a very close match in the Year 7-9 Final Oak just managed to beat Beech with impressive knowledge across the board. 

Oak 80 - Beech 70 

In the Year 10-12 final Beech dominated the later stages to win against Ash. A flawless performance from Beech and lightning-fast buzzers! 

Beech 110 - Ash 50   

Adding up the totals for all matches the overall positions to feed into the House Cup competition: 

1st Beech

3rd Oak 

4th Elm 

5th Cedar 

Huge congratulations to all the teams who participated – your enthusiasm and intellect made this year’s challenge unforgettable. Special thanks go to Ryan M and Rose M who interrupted their post exam season to come in and help with the buzzers and set up.
