Under 15 girls team play against Sidmouth in Cricket

In their final hardball game of the year, our Under 15 girls cricket team put in a fantastic all-round performance against Sidmouth.  

Winning the toss, Colyton chose to field first and delivered a sharp, disciplined display. The girls were tight in the field, giving away no extra runs or overthrows. Captain Izzy led by example, bowling a brilliant spell of 4 overs for just 13 runs and taking 2 wickets. Lottie also chipped in with a wicket as Sidmouth were held to 86-3.  

With the bat, Katie H gave Colyton a strong start, scoring a quick 10 before being bowled. Izzy and Ellie then took control, both retiring on 20 runs to guide the team home. Colyton chased down the target comfortably, finishing 100-2 with four overs to spare.  

Player of the Match was awarded by Captain Izzy to Ellie for her composed batting and sharp fielding. A great end of the year, well done girls!
