Colyton Grammar School is a wonderful school with a brilliant combination of expert staff, highly motivated students and supportive parents. Since 2016 I have been in the privileged position to be the Headteacher.

I have been teaching for thirty years in which time I have gained experience through roles as Head of History, Head of Sixth Form and Director of Admissions. The majority of my teaching career has been undertaken in the Thames Valley region of South East England working in a variety of schools in the selective and non-selective sector before moving to Devon from my position as Deputy Headteacher at Reading School.

My roots are in South Wales and consequently, my passions outside of education are in sport and especially rugby. In my spare time I try to watch the Exeter Chiefs with my young son and also cheer on Wales to another Grand Slam!
